Caleb M. Schmidt, M.S., Director of Clinical Sciences for Sovaris Aerospace, was part of a team at Colorado State University that recently had their paper on mRNA in human cells accepted in Nature, Scientific Reports. The team was led by Drs. Carol and Jeffrey Wilusz of the Department of Microbiology, Immunology & Pathology at Colorado State University and the Program in Cell & Molecular Biology at CSU (Fort Collins, CO USA). The paper is entitled “Sequences encoding C2H2 zinc fingers inhibit polyadenylation and mRNA export in human cells.”
